Interior Architecture and Design: Oscar Lucien Ono, Maison Numéro 20

Behind its rounded glass façade, this 5-star hotel owned by the Accor group reveals an unexpected setting. In keeping with his theatrical and eclectic style, inspired by designers of the past, Oscar Lucien has created a beautiful combination of architecture and art. His attention to detail, love of noble materials, and focus on lighting enable him to create a singular universe that is both audacious and elegant.

The oversized graphic columns are a tribute to Ettore Sottsass’s totems. The influence of the Memphis Group, the famous design movement of the 1980s, can also be seen in the interplay of materials and colors, blending marble, precious metals, lacquer, leather, velvet, and varnished wood.

In the 167 rooms and suites, where ebony plays with warm tones, brass finishes and black lacquered metal were chosen for the bedside reading lights and bespoke floor lamps manufactured by Brossier Saderne.
