Le Taillevent
Paris, France
Interior Architecture and Design: Yann Montfort
Housed in the Duc de Morny’s former town house, Le Taillevent is one of the finest dining establishments in Paris. The décor, designed by Yann Montfort, softens the rigorous lines of the historic architecture while showcasing noble materials and the remarkable work of French craftsmen.
Amid the imposing oak paneling, the large banquette undulating along the walls, and the curvature of the straw marquetry screens, Brossier Saderne was entrusted with creating several XXL-size lighting fixtures. Here, a double wall light with its curved lines and champagne finish is designed to provide both up and down illumination thanks to its ecru cotton shades and gold interiors. There, overhanging a large round table, our elegant pendant light with nested shades diffuses a delicate light.
