Values
Convinced that our industrial activity can only be sustainable by contributing
to the preservation of natural resources and ecosystems, we are committed to actively supporting the ecological transition.
Brossier Saderne,
a company of the Rivalen Collective, mission-driven company
Since 2022, Brossier Saderne has joined the Rivalen Collective alongside three other French lighting manufacturers.
Belonging to this mission-driven collective commits us to ambitious CSR objectives, structured around four key areas of engagement:
Governance, Environment, Social and TTerritorial Engagement
The main orientations of each area are defined by Rivalen’s commitment management team and relayed by a CSR coordinator and ambassadors at Brossier Saderne, responsible for implementing the dedicated action plan.
To ensure the effectiveness and credibility of our commitments, we submit our CSR approach to EcoVadis, an independent sustainability assessment organization. In 2025, we obtained the Bronze medal and identified key areas for improvement.
This continuous improvement process aligns our activities with the Paris Agreement goals for Europe’s carbon neutrality by 2050

Governance
Every employee actively involved in CSR
Our engagement is driven by our employees, who play an active role in reducing our environmental footprint and local social impact.
All employees have received training on the Circular Economy framework and responsible digital practices.
We also provide specialized training to integrate CSR into professional activities: eco-design for the R&D team, responsible procurement training for buyers and decision-makers, and CSR fundamentals for our sales team.
Environment
Reducing the carbon footprint of our manufacturing processes.
Being part of the ecological transition means considering the environmental impact of our workshop and our lighting pieces.
We conduct an annual carbon assessment covering Scopes 1, 2, and 3. We have set a CO2 reduction trajectory for 2030, validated by the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi): -43% on Scopes 1 and 2, -39% on Scope 3.
Circular economy principles are applied throughout the life cycle of our lighting pieces: design, manufacturing, and end-of-life.
Our R&D team follows an eco-design methodology in accordance with ISO 14062 and based on Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) to target steps to reduce environmental impact.
We also focus on improving repairability, maintainability, and recyclability to enhance the durability of our lighting products.
GESTe
Social
Fostering human values in the workplace
In 2023, we established our Code of Ethics, signed by all Brossier Saderne employees. This document encourages a work environment based on respect, integrity, and responsibility while promoting open communication and dialogue.
In 2024, we welcomed three individuals into professional reintegration programs at our workshop, creating a positive dynamic and strengthening internal cohesion.
Territorial Engagement
Investing locally and strengthening our regional roots
In partnership with ADECC (Association for the Development of Circular and Collaborative Economy), we implemented an industrial and territorial ecology approach to create synergies and advance ecological transition with other local economic actors.
In 2024, in collaboration with Matière Grise, which specializes in reusing building materials in Maine-et-Loire, we prevented the destruction of 244 illuminated mirrors, avoiding nearly 1.4 tons of CO2 emissions.
Our responsible procurement policy, shared with all stakeholders, defines the objectives and actions we commit to, including partnerships with inclusive suppliers, elimination of plastic packaging, and promotion of local suppliers located within 300 km of our workshop.
In 2025, we also became a signatory of the RFAR Charter (Responsible Supplier Relations and Purchasing).
- *Scope 1 : direct emissions from company equipment and vehicle
- 2 : indirect emissions from energy use
- 3 : other indirect emissions related to procurement, transport, lighting usage, and end-of-life.
